Will she break free from the curse?3.Hatchling - About a mother and daughter with a mysterious past. The daughter wakes up one day to find one of her eyes has turned blue to her mother's horror. We learn about the mother's difficult past with flashbacks.Each of the stories has several pages of beautiful illustrations like a graphic novel that can be read as a prologue to each story. At the center of each story is a kiss and the consequences that go along with it. These are dark, rich, beautifully written stories. I enjoyed the multi-cultural aspects and the fantasy elements. I think this would appeal to fans of young adult and fantasy genres.
